Our claims process, step-by-step:

    Connect with your broker.

    Your broker is your primary contact when it comes to your insurance policy – they understand your situation and how to proceed. Once you give your broker a detailed list of all the items that were damaged or lost, and any information, photos, or videos that help to explain the circumstances (including any witness testimonials or other parties’ contact information), an adjuster will follow-up with you to continue the claims process.

    Claim review begins.

    After the claim has been reported, it will be reviewed by your adjuster to gather additional facts, determine liability (if applicable), and assess injuries or damage.

    Your policy is reviewed.

    Your adjuster will compare the details of the loss with your policy coverage to ensure you receive everything you’re entitled to. They will also inform you of any applicable deductibles or charges that may apply to your claim.

    The damages are evaluated.

    In order to accurately evaluate the extent of the injuries or damage, your insurance adjuster may work with medical experts, appraisers, engineers, or contractors to lend their expert advice. Once the evaluation is complete, your adjuster will provide you with a list of preferred vendors who’ve been selected based on their ability to provide top quality repairs, their years of experience, and their reputation for professionalism.

    Payment is arranged.

    Once the details of your claim have been reviewed and finalized, your adjuster will work with you to arrange payment. We’re committed to providing you with flexible options, so you’ll receive your payment in the manner that’s most convenient for you.

Express Claim

Even a minor auto collision can be a major hassle. Contacting the right people, completing the proper paperwork, and waiting for decisions can take weeks, but we’ve simplified the process with our digital claims solution, Express Claim. Express Claim helps save time and effort by connecting you with an adjuster via your smartphone, so they can work remotely to gather important details and produce your appraisal in as little as half a day.

Here’s how it works:

  1. If you’re involved in an auto collision, call us to report the claim.
  2. Your adjuster will send you a link to the Express Claim platform.
  3. Open the link, snap photos of the damage, and send them right to your adjuster.
  4. Your adjuster will arrange a damage appraisal (at this point, they can also help connect you to a preferred repair shop or a rental service).
  5. Your appraisal report will be emailed to you.
  6. You’ll get a call from your adjuster outlining your settlement details.

The best part? You can complete the process wherever you happen to be – if there are documents we need you to sign, you can do that right on your phone, too. And as always, you can count on quick response times, a preferred network of top-notch vendors, and 24/7 service.
