Dr. Melissa Snider-Adler, MD, CCFP, MRO (AAMRO), DABAM
Chief Medical Review Officer | DriverCheck Inc.
Dr. Snider-Adler is the Chief Medical Review Officer for DriverCheck. Her background is in Family Medicine, but now works primarily in the field of Addiction Medicine. She has been providing Opioid Agonist Therapy in multiple practice settings throughout Ontario for the last sixteen years. Dr. Snider-Adler is certified as a Medical Review Officer by the American Association of Medical Review Officers. She is also certified as a Physician practicing Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Snider-Adler is an Assistant Professor at Queen’s University Department of Family Medicine. She was one of the authors of the 2011 Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program Standards and Clinical Guidelines and continues to work as a Peer Assessor for the College of Physician and Surgeons of Ontario where she also sits on the Methadone Assessors Committee. Dr. Snider-Adler gives talks across Canada to companies, physicians and the community about workplace substance abuse and addiction prevention and treatment.
Director, Ontario Casualty & Litigation Claims | Northbridge Insurance
Lynne is the Director of Ontario Casualty & Litigation Claims for Northbridge Insurance, Canada’s leading transportation insurer. With over 13 years in the insurance industry, Lynne has worked in number of roles within claims including as National Claims Technical Specialist and is passionate about helping businesses manage their litigation risk here and in the U.S. In her current role as Director, Claims Litigation, she oversees all Ontario liability & litigation claims including third party auto, general liability, professional liability and wrongful dismissal.
Lynne holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto where she studied Crime & Deviance and Sociology. She is also a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Canada.

David studied Philosophy at the University of Toronto before completing his Bachelor of Law in 1989 at Osgoode Hall Law School. Upon being admitted to the Bar in 1991, he continued as an Associate at the firm where he finalized his articles specializing in civil litigation, particularly in the area of insurance law.
David founded Zuber & Company LLP in February 1999. His practice is primarily trial and appellate work. David has extensive trial experience acting as counsel for clients at numerous hearings (both judge alone, as well as judge and jury) and appeals involving liability, injuries, property damage, occupier’s liability, product liability and insurance coverage disputes. As well as co-authoring a textbook for high school law courses across Canada, David has contributed to a variety of legal and insurance publications and has made numerous presentations on civil liability and insurance issues.
David has been a member of many notable committees including, but not limited to: Civility in Justice System; Task Force Bill 59 Auto Reform; the Rules Committee: Task Force Discovery Process; the Canadian Bar Association; The Advocates Society; the Defence Research Institute; and was formerly Treasurer for the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association.
He is an active member of the Federation of Defence & Corporate Counsel. A by invitation only limited membership organization comprised of leaders in the insurance and corporate defence bar limited to 1,100 trial lawyers worldwide. David has also been appointed to serve as Vice Chair of the Toxic Tort and Environment Law Section with the FDCC.
Sergeant Dave Wallbank
Provincial Coordinator, Drug Evaluation & Classification | O.P.P. Highway Safety Division
Dave started his policing career in 1988 with the Toronto Police Service and was assigned to traffic. In his early years he worked throughout Toronto investigating traffic collisions and traffic related incidents primarily. Dave began specializing as a collision reconstructionist as well as breathalyzer operator. Dave has investigated over 1600 collisions, over 200 traffic fatalities and conducted approximately 500 breath tests on impaired driving suspects. In 2001 Dave left the Toronto Police Service to join the Ontario Provincial Police.
Upon joining the OPP Dave was posted to the Orillia Detachment where he was assigned to general duties investigations in Orillia and the surrounding communities.
In 2010 Dave worked as a supervisor in the Provincial Communications Centre in Thunder Bay where he supervised 911 call-takers and police dispatchers servicing northwestern Ontario.
In early 2013 he decided to return to his roots in traffic and was transferred to the OPP’s Provincial Traffic Operations to manage the Drug Evaluation and Classification (DEC) Program for the OPP.
Since May 2013 Dave has been the Provincial Coordinator of the DEC program which encompasses the Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) program and the Drug Recognition Evaluator (DRE) program. These programs are at the forefront of combatting Drug Impaired Driving as Canada moves towards the legalization of Cannabis.
Dave works with the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the RCMP and Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police and all municipal police services in the development and delivery of the program throughout Ontario.
